This morning in Kharar’s Skylark Enclave, a 30-year-old man, Simranjit Singh from Gurdaspur, tragically took his own life by jumping from the fourth floor of Tower 2.
Simranjit had been at his friend’s place around 10 pm the night before and was dealing with stress from being denied a visa to a foreign country twice. He was also unemployed.
Survived by his mother, Simranjit’s friend Parambir Singh informed the police control room (PCR), and officers arrived about 30 minutes later. They rushed Simranjit to Kharar subdivisional hospital, where he was declared deceased by medical staff. His body is currently in the mortuary at the Kharar hospital.
