Young people born in 2005 can now apply for free European travel passes through the DiscoverEU program. The application period is open from October 4 to October 18.
To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of an EU member state or a third country associated with the Erasmus+ Programme. They must also be born between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2005.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to travel for up to 30 days between March 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. They can visit multiple countries during their trip.
The European Commission encourages participants to consider the New European Bauhaus route, which highlights sustainable and beautiful places in Europe.
