Gandhinagar police in Gujarat have arrested the owner and two employees of a visa consultancy firm for allegedly forging documents to obtain work and student visas unlawfully. The accused—Avkashbhai Jayantibhai Chaudhary, Sahil Vikeshbhai Patel, and Krunal Kiritbhai Baria—face charges under the Indian Penal Code for forgery and criminal conspiracy.
The arrests followed raids on December 15 at 17 locations where agencies were suspected of forging documents for visas to the USA, the UK, Canada, and Australia. Future Planning Visa Consultancy (FPVC) was one of the firms raided. The investigation, including the analysis of electronic devices, revealed the accused had fake bank statements.The FIR was filed based on a complaint by N A Rayma, Detective Police Sub-Inspector of CID Crime, Gandhinagar.
