Starting from August 15, 2023, Vietnam will have a new system for electronic visas (e-visas) that anyone from any country can use. This change allows visitors to stay in Vietnam for up to 90 days without needing to extend their visa. Before, only 80 countries could use e-visas for up to 30 days. Now, this system is available at 16 land border gates, 13 sea border gates, and 13 air border gates, making it easier for people worldwide to visit Vietnam for work or fun.

The Vietnamese Government has also made it easier for citizens of 13 countries, including Germany, France, and Italy, to stay in Vietnam for 45 days without a visa. This change shows that Vietnam wants to make it simple for people from around the world to travel to the country.

Also, Phu Quoc, a beautiful place in the Phu Quoc Economic Zone, Kien Giang Province, has a special rule that allows people to stay there for 30 days without a visa. This makes it a great place for tourists who want to enjoy Vietnam without worrying about visas.
