Please find below the information and documents required to schedule your nonimmigrant visa appointment:

• A passport valid for travel to the United States with a validity date of at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions). If more than one person is included in your passport, each person desiring a visa must submit an application.
• Your visa application (MRV) fee payment receipt.
• Your DS-160 confirmation page.
• Your e-mail address.
• If applicable, required documents are based on visa class (such as a petition approval for petition-based visas; more information about visa types and information about each can be found on the Department of State’s website).

Reschedule limit applies, after the limit is reached you can attend or cancel, Cancelling invalidates the fee and restricts the next scheduling for 120 days. Reschedule at least 2 business days before 4:30 p.m. local time to avoid being marked as a “no-show”.

Applicants under age 14 or 80 and over from the submission date are not required to appear for a nonimmigrant visa interview at any Embassy/Consulate in India. Such applicants may submit their visa applications through the Interview Waiver.
