The United Kingdom has inaugurated a visa application center in Enugu, Nigeria, located at the TLScontact Visa Application Centre in Independence Layout, Enugu.
This initiative aims to simplify the visa application process for residents of Enugu State and the broader South-East region. The Enugu State government has expressed its appreciation for the center’s establishment, highlighting its potential to enhance economic collaboration and cultural exchanges between the state and the UK. The government encourages residents to utilize this convenient facility for their visa applications.
In a parallel development, the Indonesian government has signaled its intent to expand its partnership with Enugu State. Led by the Indonesian ambassador to Nigeria, Usra Harahap, a delegation visited Enugu to explore opportunities for trade, investment, and socio-economic cooperation. The delegation engaged in discussions with Governor Peter Mbah and other state officials, extending an invitation to Enugu stakeholders to participate in an upcoming Trade Expo in Indonesia. Governor Mbah warmly welcomed this interest from the Indonesian delegation, emphasizing Enugu State’s readiness to collaborate with Indonesian investors and highlighting the numerous investment prospects available in sectors such as agriculture, minerals, energy, and more.
