The UAE is thinking about giving long-term golden visas to businesses to attract more wealthy investors. This idea was discussed in a government meeting to boost revenue, ensure business stability, and grow the economy.
Following Bahrain’s success with the golden license scheme, the UAE is considering similar ten-year visas and five-year licenses to encourage investments and big projects.
Earlier this year, the UAE made it easier to get residency through the Golden Visa program by removing the minimum down payment requirement.
These changes aim to bring in more investors, keep the real estate market steady, and give businesses more time and flexibility. Raheel Ahmed, CEO of RAKBank, sees this as a positive move for new businesses, offering them stability and room to operate smoothly.
