In a strategic move aimed at bolstering investment and economic growth, the United Arab Emirates is actively considering the implementation of long-term golden visas for businesses.
The proposal, which includes the introduction of 10-year golden visas alongside five-year silver licenses for trade, was deliberated during a session of the government’s Economic Integration Committee, as reported by Gulf News in Dubai.
This initiative is designed to not only enhance government revenue but also ensure business sustainability and drive economic expansion, as detailed in the report.
It’s worth noting that the UAE, encompassing both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, already offers golden visas to foreign nationals, with expatriate residents constituting more than 80 percent of the country’s population.
