Soon, people from Bosnia and Herzegovina can travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for up to 90 days without a visa. This applies to business, short visits, and tourism, thanks to an agreement between the two countries.

To go to the UAE without a visa, Bosnian and Herzegovinian citizens just need a valid passport (with at least six months left), health insurance, and a return or onward ticket. But, if they’re going for study or work, they still need the right visa.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced this visa-free deal, but we don’t have all the details yet. We’ll know more, like when it starts and what’s allowed, once they officially share the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Fragomen will also keep us updated on similar arrangements for UAE citizens going to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
