More Charges Against Two Agents Held for Visa Fraud

Two immigration consultants, Ravinder Singh and Manpreet Singh Brar, have been apprehended on charges of fraudulent activities related to visa promises. They are accused of deceiving Gurcharan Singh from Bathinda, extracting Rs 7.43 lakh from him with the promise of securing a study visa for Canada. Notably, the police have received an additional 17 complaints against the same individuals, culminating in a collective fraud amounting to Rs 57 lakh. Following their arrest on August 20, the accused have been placed in judicial custody, while the police continue their investigation into the matter.
