Thailand is trying to boost tourism by hosting many cultural and sporting events. They are also thinking about making it easier for people from more European countries to visit. The country is considering extending the maximum stay for tourists from some European countries to 90 days. Thailand is also planning to have about 3,000 events next year to encourage tourists to stay longer and spend more money.

The government also wants to let bars and clubs in some areas stay open until 4 a.m. starting next month. Even though Thailand has lifted most of its COVID-19 restrictions, tourists are still spending less money than they did before the pandemic. Thailand hopes to earn 2 trillion baht ($57 billion) from tourism in 2024.
