An Indian expatriate named Muhsin, who found himself stranded in the UAE without crucial documents, has successfully been repatriated to India with the generous assistance of social workers.
Muhsin’s predicament began when he lost his bag, which contained his passport and vital documents, shortly after arriving in the UAE in March 2023. Unable to alter his visa status, he accumulated overstay fines and faced eviction from his accommodation due to rent arrears. Thankfully, alert social workers noticed his plight in a park and immediately took action. Through their efforts, authorities waived his overstay fines, helped him obtain a police clearance certificate and an outpass from the Indian Consulate in Dubai, and secured the necessary documents from Al Aweer, facilitating his safe return to his home country. Muhsin expressed heartfelt gratitude to the social workers, acknowledging that their intervention rescued him from a challenging situation and ensured his safe journey back home.
