The government is allowing a special visa that lets visitors from these places enter Sri Lanka two times within a month. This change is meant to encourage travelers to stay longer and discover all the cool things Sri Lanka has to offer.
India is a big source of visitors for Sri Lanka, making up about 26% of all the people who come. To make things even better, Indian tourists can also visit Thailand without a visa for six months from November 10, 2023, to May 10, 2024. And in Malaysia, they can stay for 30 days without needing a visa starting from December 1, 2023.
