Saudi Arabia has announced that it will now offer e-visas to Turkish citizens for tourism purposes. This is a significant change, as Turkish travelers previously had to obtain sticker visas in order to visit Saudi Arabia.

The new e-visa program is open to both ordinary and official passport holders from Turkey. Applicants can apply for an e-visa online through an official website. Successful applicants can receive their visas upon arrival at Saudi airports or from the visa sections of Saudi missions in Turkey.

The e-visa can be issued as either a single entry or a multiple entry visa. It allows travelers to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days within 365 days. However, the e-visa is not valid during the Hajj period, and tourists cannot visit the holy sites in Saudi Arabia during this time.

Saudi citizens planning to visit Turkey have several options for obtaining a visa. They can opt for a sticker visa, an e-visa, or a banderol visa directly at Turkey’s border gates.

This change is expected to make it easier for Turkish citizens to visit Saudi Arabia for tourism purposes. It is also likely to boost tourism between the two countries.
