Good news for Indian travelers! Saudi Arabia now offers a free 96-hour stopover visa. Alhasan Aldabbagh, President of Saudi Tourism Authority โ€“ Asia Pacific, shared this exciting update with ANI, showing that Saudi Arabia values Indian visitors. Accessing Saudi Arabia is easier with 10 VFS offices in India, and more are on the way. Indians can visit for Umrah on business, tourism, and Umrah visas, as confirmed by Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Saudi Minister of Hajj & Umrah in New Delhi.

The cool part? The stopover program gives a free 96-hour visa for travelers on Saudi Airlines or Flynas, a Saudi low-cost airline. And if you have a US, UK, or Schengen visa, you can get an e-Visa or visa on arrival.

Alhasan Aldabbagh shared this news at the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2024 Travel Show. Stressing India’s importance, Aldabbagh said, “India is a big deal for Saudi. Last year, 1.5 million Indians visited โ€“ that’s a 50% increase. We aim to bring in 7.5 million Indian visitors to Saudi Arabia by 2030.
