Saudi Arabia Introduces Visa on Arrival for Umrah Pilgrims from 12 Countries
Saudi Arabia has made it easier for people from 12 countries to get an Umrah visa. These countries are the United States, United Kingdom, several European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Brunei, and China.
Before, people from these countries had to apply for an Umrah visa in advance. Now, they can get a visa on arrival when they enter Saudi Arabia.
The visa on arrival costs $117 and includes health insurance coverage. Travelers can apply for the visa through Saudi Arabia’s official eVisa website.
The new visa on arrival scheme is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to make it easier for people to visit the country. It is also expected to boost tourism and the economy.
