Russia in Talks for Visa-Free Travel with Asian, African

Russia is discussing visa-free travel agreements with countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, as reported by TASS, citing the country’s foreign ministry.

According to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, ongoing negotiations are happening with various Asian, African, and Middle Eastern countries to allow visa-free travel.

The foreign ministry is also working on intergovernmental agreements for visa-free travel with countries like Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov mentioned that Russia is aiming to have visa-free travel with all Persian Gulf nations.
