Five people are in trouble for tricking a man named Balwinder Singh out of Rs 10 lakh. They had promised to help him get a visa to Canada, but it turned out to be a scam. The accused are Bachhan Lal, Sudesh Kumari, Jatin Vashisth, Neha Bhardwaj, and Rohit Kumar.

Balwinder Singh complained to the Crime Branch Jammu (CBJ) that Bachhan Lal, who he knew, had assured him he could arrange a Canadian visa. First, Bachhan Lal took Rs 1.5 lakh from Singh and sent him to Thailand with Neha Bhardwaj. There, they forced Singh to pay an additional Rs 8.5 lakh for the promised visa. But once they got the money, Bachhan Lal and Neha Bhardwaj left Singh in Thailand with a fake visa.

After an investigation, the CBJ found that the accused had indeed cheated Singh. They have been charged with different legal sections, including sections 420, 467, 468, and 120-B of the RPC. The case is now going through the court process.
