Overstaying Visa: 45 Pakistani Hindus Detained in Gujarat
On Sunday, 45 Pakistani Hindus were detained in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district due to expired visas and rejected applications for long-term visas. They had initially arrived in India on valid visas two months ago, with plans to visit Haridwar in Uttarakhand and then meet relatives in Banaskantha. Unfortunately, their visas expired while they were in Banaskantha, and their requests for long-term visas were turned down. They were apprehended in Akoli village, and authorities were in the process of arranging their return to Pakistan.
