The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that it is no longer issuing new visas to Bangladeshi citizens. This includes tourist, visit, and work visas.
The ROP says that it is reviewing its visa policies, and that the suspension of new visas for Bangladeshi citizens is a temporary measure.
The ROP also says that people who are already in Oman on tourist or visit visas will not be able to convert their visas to work visas. They will need to leave Oman and reapply for a work visa from outside the country.
The ROP did not give a reason for the suspension of new visas for Bangladeshi citizens.
