A man from Gaya district in Bihar was arrested by the Mumbai Police for exploiting young job seekers. The man, Rahul Kumar, was operating a fraudulent placement agency called “Bombay International Consultancy” in Mumbai. He and his associates were reportedly involved in cheating job seekers by promising them passports, visas, and overseas job opportunities.

Kumar’s modus operandi was to lure job seekers with advertisements for high-paying jobs overseas. He would then charge them hefty fees for processing their passports and visas. However, he would never actually deliver on his promises. Instead, he would either give them fake passports and visas, or simply disappear with their money.

The Mumbai Police received several complaints from job seekers who had been cheated by Kumar. They raided his office and arrested him on Tuesday. Kumar is currently in police custody and is being investigated for fraud and cheating.

This incident is a reminder to job seekers to be careful about fraudulent placement agencies. There are many such agencies that operate by exploiting the hopes and dreams of young people. Job seekers should always do their research before paying any fees to a placement agency. They should also be wary of agencies that promise guaranteed jobs overseas.
