Mumbai Police have taken action against five individuals for trying to get a German visa using fake documents. The complaint was made by Ralph Karsten, a 47-year-old advisor from the Federal Police of Germany at the Consulate General of Germany.

According to Marine Drive police, Karsten reported that Josie Poliwalthuk Kalajoy, Ganesh Rethinam, Shenkathir Viraiyan, Murigantham Uthipathy, and Sanjay Kumar obtained visas with fake documents. The passport stamps from other countries found in their passports were also fake. An FIR has been filed based on this information.

The police shared that the five applied for German visas with fake documents. The crime branch sent the suspect papers to the German Consulate for verification, and the investigation confirmed the forgery. The FIR was filed by the Marine Drive police based on the complaint by the Federal Police of Germany advisor.
