Moroccan authorities have arrested eight people on suspicion of forging documents needed to apply for a Schengen visa. The suspects are believed to have used the forged documents to help people migrate illegally to the Schengen area. They are also facing charges of human trafficking.

The arrests took place in three different cities in Morocco: Oujda, Nador, and Berkane. Authorities seized forged documents and equipment used to create them, such as stamps, computers, and other electronic devices.

The suspects are being held in custody while police investigate the case and try to identify other people involved in the criminal network.

This is not the first time that Moroccan authorities have arrested people for forging or selling Schengen visas.
