Sadiqulla Baig was arrested in Bengaluru in connection with a fake passport-visa racket recently exposed by the Delhi Police. He was taken into custody at the Bengaluru airport upon arriving from Dubai on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI) Usha Rangnani shared that a look-out circular had been issued against Baig after his involvement in a fake visa case in Ludhiana, Punjab, came to light.
Upon his arrival in India, Bengaluru airport staff quickly alerted security, leading to Baig’s detention. He was later handed over to the Delhi Police for further investigation, according to Rangnani.”
