Abhin George Abhilash Raj is accused of deceiving people by offering them job visas to Malta, which turned out to be fake. He reportedly managed to scam a total of Rs 1 crore (an Indian unit of currency) from 32 victims who had trusted him in hopes of securing job visas to Malta.

Abhin George Abhilash Raj had been operating under the guise of a travel agency called “Abhilash Travels,” which was situated in Perambra, within the jurisdiction of the Kodakara police. This arrest is the result of efforts by the local authorities to put an end to this visa scam.
