Kuwait’s Interior Ministry clarified that social media rumors about visa openings to specific countries are false. They stress that visa decisions will be communicated officially. The Ministry urges people to trust credible sources and check its website.
Rumors suggested Kuwait was accepting visa applications from all nationalities, including Syria, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Pakistan. But applicants from these countries face strict rules, like security screenings. If cleared, they may get tourist or family visas.
Local media say applicants must apply in person, using their address on their civil ID.
Additionally, the Interior Ministry announced new conditions for tourist, family, and commercial visits. Appointments through the Meta platform are now mandatory.
