Great news for Kosovo! Starting January 1st, folks there can finally travel to Europe for up to 90 days without needing a visa. They’re the last country in the Western Balkans to join the visa-free club, and everyone’s thrilled.
This means stronger ties with the EU, easier visits for family and friends living in Europe, and one step closer to Kosovo’s dream of joining the EU fully. It’s been a long journey since they started working on this in 2012, but thanks to help from countries like Germany and Austria, it’s finally a reality.
Leaders in Kosovo are still tackling some challenges, but they’re hopeful that this visa-free travel will pave the way for even more cooperation and progress. So cheers to Kosovo – here’s to visa-free adventures and a brighter future with the EU!
