New Delhi: A 49-year-old, Mujeeb P.P., was arrested in Kerala for tricking people with counterfeit visas and passports, promising them overseas travel. This follows a two-year investigation since the 2019 detention at IGI airport, where two agents and a passenger were caught with a fake Spain visa. The passenger, Vishal Khullar from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, had a passport valid until August 29, 2026, and obtained departure clearance to Madrid, Spain, based on a supposedly valid Schengen Visa from March 2, 2019, to April 2, 2019. The fake visa was detected during document check at the boarding gate by Air India security staff, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI) Usha Rangnani.
