Jodhpur Resident Scammed in Study Visa Fraud

A person from Jodhpur was scammed by a family who promised to help him get a study visa for Singapore. The victim, Jugal Kishore, lost Rs 3.70 lakh in December 2022.

The scam was discovered when the police charged the family members involved: Ranjana Singh, her daughter Ashima Singh, son Deep, and their partner Harmandeep Dhillon.

Kishore tried to report the fraud at a local police station, but nothing happened. He then went to higher authorities, leading to an investigation and charges against the scammers.

Kishore met the family while studying in Amritsar, and they offered to help him with the visa. He paid them money but never got the promised visa or his money back.

Now, the police are looking for the scammers to bring them to justice.
