In a recent YouTube interview, Japan’s ambassador, Hiroshi F Suzuki, revealed that securing a visa to Japan is now exceptionally straightforward for Indian students. According to Suzuki, presenting a student ID is all that’s required for a student visa. The ambassador also discussed the streamlined visa requirements specifically tailored for Indian students.

Under the newly implemented rules, students who graduated from Indian universities within three years can now submit certificates of student status or graduation instead of financial documents when applying for a short-term tourism visa.

This modification aims to foster increased exchanges between India and Japan, with a specific focus on encouraging more young visitors.

Ambassador Suzuki enthusiastically encouraged young Indians, stating, “For students, it’s as simple as presenting your student ID. I strongly encourage young Indians to explore Japan for skill training and job opportunities.”

Expressing optimism about the growing number of Indians studying and working in Japan, Suzuki foresees a strengthened relationship between the two countries.
