Starting in November, Vietnamese tourists traveling in groups will be able to apply for electronic visas (e-visas) to Japan. This will make it easier and faster for Vietnamese tourists to visit Japan.
To apply for an e-visa, tourists will need to book a package tour through an approved travel company. Once the tour is booked, the travel company will apply for the e-visa on the tourist’s behalf.
Once the e-visa is approved, the tourist will receive a “Visa Issuance Notice” which they will need to present on their mobile phone when they arrive in Japan.
The introduction of e-visas is expected to boost tourism from Vietnam to Japan. Japan is a popular tourist destination for Vietnamese people, but the visa process has been a barrier for some. The new e-visa system is expected to make it easier and more affordable for Vietnamese people to visit Japan.
