Effective December 4, Saudi nationals will enjoy relaxed visa requirements when visiting Japan. Those who meet specific financial criteria will be eligible for multiple-entry visas, valid for up to three years.
This new visa scheme is intended to facilitate short-term stays for tourism, business, or visiting family and friends. Applicants can submit their applications at the Japanese embassy or consulate-general in Saudi Arabia.
“We hope that these visa measures will strengthen the ties between the people of Japan and Saudi Arabia,” the Japanese embassy stated.
