Israel is making things more convenient for visa holders. The government is extending the validity of visas until February 8, 2024, especially considering the current situation.

If your visa is expiring in the next three months, you automatically get an extension until February next year. After that, the regular process for extending visas will continue, unless there’s a special need for more automatic extensions.

Keep in mind that this extension doesn’t apply to the B/1 Work Visa, but it includes all other visas. So, if you have an immigration visa, a limited stay B/2 Visitorโ€™s Visa, or a long-term A visa (like A/2 Student Visa or A/4 Visa for Spouses and Children), you’re covered!

For those outside Israel needing a visa to enter, they should apply for it at the consulate. The application includes a completed form, two passport-size photos, a valid passport, older passports, a birth certificate, and confirmation of your flight booking.

Depending on your trip and the type of visa, a few more documents might be needed. Make sure to check the details with the relevant authorities.
