Indonesia has initiated a “Golden Visa” program aimed at enticing foreign investors to contribute to its economic growth. This initiative allows foreign investors to obtain a special visa that permits them to reside in Indonesia for an extended period, either 5 or 10 years, provided they make significant investments in the country.

The program’s requirements differ based on whether the investor is an individual or a company. Individual investors must either establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum investment of $2.5 million or purchase Indonesian government bonds worth at least $350,000. In contrast, corporate investors must commit a minimum of $25 million for a 5-year visa or $50 million for a 10-year visa.
