Indians are suing the US government because their H-1B visa applications were denied due to employer fraud

Indians are suing the US government because about 70 of them believe their H-1B visa applications were unfairly rejected due to employer fraud. This was reported by Bloomberg on August 13. These individuals were part of a training program for foreign graduates from US universities. They maintain their innocence, even though their employers were involved in fraudulent activities.

Jonathan Wasden, an attorney from Wasden Law representing the plaintiffs, told Bloomberg that the government assumed anyone linked to these companies was guilty of using deceitful methods to obtain visas or immigration benefits.

According to the complaint filed in a federal court in Washington state, the Indian nationals were treated unfairly because of their association with these companies, and they were not given a chance to respond.
