Indian visa outsourcing company BLS International is in trouble in Estonia for breaking e-residency rules. They were given the job of issuing e-Residency cards but are now at risk of losing the contract from the Estonian Ministry of the Interior due to two major breaches. The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board found unauthorized document issuance in Bangkok and similar issues in other BLS locations, leading to the contract termination.
BLS International says some employees, beyond their control, were responsible for the breaches, and they have taken disciplinary measures against them. Despite the problems in Estonia, it’s worth noting that BLS International recently got a contract with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to handle consular services in Canada, including passports, visas, and OCI applications.
