Starting November 20, 2023, Kenyan citizens will no longer need to schedule in-person appointments to apply for Chinese visas. Instead, they can easily submit their applications online through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Nairobi.

This change is intended to make the visa application process more efficient and improve the overall experience for Kenyan applicants. The Chinese Embassy in Kenya has also emphasized the importance of filling out visa application forms accurately and encouraged applicants to use the services of the Visa Application Service Center during regular business hours.

Those who had previously scheduled online appointments will still be given priority, as long as they present their confirmation page on the specified date and within their allotted time slot. To avoid longer processing times, applicants are advised to submit their applications outside of peak periods.

The processing time and fees for Chinese visas will remain unchanged.
