Hong Kong is making it easier for foreign workers and talent to come to the city. Starting October 26, foreign workers in Hong Kong can apply for multiple-entry visas for the mainland for up to 2 years. This will make it easier for them to travel between Hong Kong and the mainland for business or personal reasons.

The Hong Kong government is also expanding its Top Talent Pass program to make it easier for highly skilled workers to come to Hong Kong. The program will now include eight more reputable universities from the mainland and overseas.

In addition, the government is easing visa requirements for Vietnamese, Lao, and Nepalese nationals. These nationals can now apply for multiple-entry visas for business or travel.

The government is also working to attract more investment to Hong Kong by launching a new Capital Investment Entrant Scheme. Under this scheme, eligible investors who make investments of $30 million or above in certain assets can apply for entry into Hong Kong.

These changes are part of the Hong Kong government’s efforts to attract and retain talent. The government is hoping that these changes will help to boost the city’s economy and make it more competitive.
