Karnataka High Court Rejects Chinese Woman’s Visa Extension Request
The Karnataka High Court has declined the appeal of a 40-year-old Chinese citizen, Hu Xiaolin, who is a defendant in a multi-crore fraud case associated with a mobile app. Xiaolin had asked the court to extend her visa and that of her minor daughter.
In her plea, Xiaolin contended that she had been unjustly implicated in the criminal case and sought an extension of her visa. She maintained that her presence in India was crucial for the ongoing investigation and any potential trial that might ensue if charges were pressed against her.
