Greece is making it easier for Turkish visitors to come to ten Aegean islands! After a meeting between leaders from both countries, Greece decided to give Turkish citizens a one-year visa when they arrive, without needing to apply in advance. This is to make friends and boost travel and tourism between the two countries.

The visa is given right when you arrive and lets you stay for seven days. The special islands you can visit are Lemnos, Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos, Rhodes, Symi, and Kastelorizo.

Greece’s Prime Minister also said they support Turkey’s request to visit the Schengen Area without a visa. It’s the fifth time they’re talking, and they even signed a declaration promising to be good neighbors and help each other out. Happy times for Greece and Turkey!
