We are thrilled to announce that the latest Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) quarterly payments will be disbursed on July 28, 2023, aimed at making life more affordable for Canada’s lowest-paid workers.

Eligible single workers can receive up to $1,428, while families can qualify for up to $2,461 based on their income. These payments will be provided as a basic quarterly Canada Workers Benefit, offering vital financial support to those who need it most.

In addition to the basic benefit, eligible Canadian workers can also receive up to $737 as a disability supplement based on their annual income. This additional support aims to further assist individuals facing financial challenges due to disability.

The CWB program is designed to uplift and empower individuals and families who work hard but earn lower incomes. With these new quarterly payments, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all Canadians.

The Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) is designed to provide essential financial assistance to individuals and families who work but may not earn enough income. The CWB consists of two components: the Basic Amount and the Disability Allowance.

When you file your income tax return, you have the opportunity to claim the CWB. Moreover, through the Advanced Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB) program, eligible individuals will receive advance payments equal to 50% of the CWB, distributed over three installments starting in July 2023.

It’s important to note that these advance payments will be based on the tax year of 2022. If you received advanced CWB payments in 2022, you will automatically receive the advanced payments for the upcoming period; there is no need to reapply.
