According to Singh, Star Future Education and Immigration Services in Sector 70, Mohali, assured his daughter an Australian study visa but failed to deliver the promised services. The alleged fraud not only resulted in a financial loss of ₹19 lakh but also had negative consequences for his daughter’s career.

In response to Singh’s complaint, the Mataur police station has formally registered a case, citing charges of cheating and invoking section 24 of the Immigration Act. The investigation will likely proceed to determine the details of the fraud and take appropriate legal action against the accused individuals.
