Biometric Appointments

Welcome to the VFS Appointment system

To submit your visa application to the VFS Global visa application centre (VAC), you need to book an appointment and fill out a visa application form on France-Visas. But before you schedule your appointment, make sure to check for updates related to Visa Application Centres.

1. If you have NOT YET FILLED out the France-Visas application form

2. If you have ALREADY FILLED out the France-Visas application form

You require additional help to complete your visa application (optional service – exclusively offered in India).

To book an appointment at the VFS Visa Application Centre, select the appropriate visa type carefully. The French Authorities have instructed VFS Visa Application Centre to reject applications if the appointment does not match the visa type for which it was booked. By accepting, you agree to comply with local authorities and VFS sanitary regulations and may need to undergo a contactless infrared thermometer check of your body temperature before entering the visa centre. If you are applying from India, you can click on “I accept” to book your appointment. 3. If you wish to APPLY FROM HOME

If you prefer to submit your visa application and biometrics from a location of your choice, you can opt for the Visa at Your Doorstep service (VAYD). Click on the link for more information about this service.

Alternatively, if you already have a Schengen visa that is less than 59 months old, you may be exempt from biometrics and eligible for the Collection from Home service (CFH). This allows you to apply for your visa from the comfort of your home. Click on the link for more information about this service.

4. Already booked an appointment? Track the validity of your appointment
