In a recent development, Poland has streamlined its visa application process for the New Delhi consular district. Starting December 2023, all visa applications for Poland in this district must be submitted exclusively through VFS Global visa application centres located in Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Lucknow. The appointment registration for this process has been open since November 23.
Additionally, for applicants in the Mumbai consular district, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland is actively working on a new visa application processing system. This system is specifically designed to handle a significantly higher volume of applications. While the official launch date is yet to be announced, it is expected to be revealed soon, promising an improved and more efficient application experience for those in the Mumbai district.
