The European Union Court of Justice (CJEU) ruled that EU countries were justified in imposing COVID-19 travel restrictions for public health reasons. This decision came after a case brought by tour operator NORDIC INFO, challenging Belgium’s classification of Sweden as a “red” country, restricting non-essential travel.
