Dubai has just made it easier for Indians to visit by introducing a new five-year multiple-entry tourist visa. This means eligible Indians can now travel to Dubai multiple times over five years, with each visit lasting up to 90 days. If needed, the visa can be extended once for a similar duration, allowing a maximum stay of 180 days in a year.
Last year, 2.46 million Indians visited Dubai, showing a 25% increase from before the pandemic. This makes India the top source of visitors to Dubai, with a remarkable 34% year-on-year growth. The visa application process is quick, taking only two to five working days to be processed.
To get the visa, applicants need to meet some requirements, like having a bank balance of $4,000 or equivalent in foreign currencies over the last six months and having valid health insurance for the UAE. This new visa is expected to make travel more convenient for business and leisure, allowing for flexible entries and exits.
