Dubai has introduced a new five-year multiple-entry tourist visa for Indian travelers, aiming to boost economic ties and encourage tourism. The visa can be processed in two to five working days, allowing a 90-day stay, extendable once, with a maximum of 180 days in a year. This initiative offers flexibility for multiple entries and exits, making travel more convenient for both business and leisure purposes.
Bader Ali Habib, Regional Head of Proximity Markets at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, emphasized the significance of India as a key market for Dubai. He highlighted the positive impact of Indian visitors in 2023 on Dubai’s tourism sector and stated that the new visa is a strategic move to strengthen the existing connections between the two.
