Collect Your Passport
After your visa application decision has been made, you have the option to either collect your documents/passport from the Visa Application Centre in person or have them returned to you by courier, depending on the delivery mode you selected during the visa application submission.
For in-person collection:
You must bring:
- The original ICR (Invoice Cum Receipt) and a copy of a government-issued ID.
Third-party collection of documents or passports is not permitted, except in the following cases:
- Immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse).
- A person authorized to collect on behalf of an official or diplomatic passport holder if authorized on government letterhead or department.
- Representatives of a company, with an authorization letter on the company’s letterhead and their official ID card.
Those collecting passports/documents for any of the above reasons must bring:
- Photocopies of government ID cards of all applicants.
- The original ICR.
- An authorization letter from the applicant.
In case the applicant loses their ICR, they must visit the centre in person to collect the passport from the counter.
