Delhi authorities have successfully busted a fake international visa operation posing as an advocate and travel agency. After a year-long investigation, three individuals from Haryana and Delhi were arrested. The suspects, Udit Moghav (32), Sagar Dabas (25), and Kewal Singh (45), were involved in a scheme promising foreign travel with forged passports and visas at attractive prices.

The crackdown was triggered by the deportation of three Indians from Istanbul in 2022โ€”Gurmeet Singh, Sahil Kumar, and Vikram Singh. The subsequent probe at the IGI Airport led to the identification and arrest of the culprits.

Gurpreet, Sahil, and Vikram tried to go to Istanbul from India, but their plans fell apart because of fake visas. Sahil wanted to work abroad and paid Rs 2 lakh upfront to agents Kewal Singh, Udit Moga, and Sagar Dabas for a Rs 20 lakh deal to get him to Guyana. The agents were caught, including Udit Mogha, who admitted to running the scam and owns Rupali Travels Pvt Ltd in Mahipalpur, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
