A woman from China was apprehended by border officials in India on Saturday after being found attempting to enter the country without a visa. The woman, identified as Jin Mei from Shandong, China, was discovered during a routine inspection conducted by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
Upon being questioned, Jin Mei was unable to provide any information due to a language barrier. However, officials were able to determine her nationality and place of residence. The police have informed the Chinese Embassy and summoned Chinese language experts to assist with communication.
Jin Mei was found to be in possession of a visa for Nepal and two SIM cards. The police are preparing to file a case against her for entering India without proper documentation. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released in due course.
